Kindergarten

At Al Resalah American International School, the KG learning environment focuses on the holistic development of the child. Children in the KG learn well through play and inquiry. Care is taken to ensure that the learning, emotional, social, and physical needs of every student are addressed through our carefully planned and executed programs. We also believe that language development is critical and therefore we take care to support our children to acquire and apply language confidently.   

KG follows the California Common Core State Standards for Kindergarten in English Language, Arts, and Mathematics. We also follow the Next Generation Science Standards and provide hands-on science investigations to engage students in their exploration of science. 

Students at Al Resalah play a key role in assessing their own learning. Our children are enabled to set their own learning targets and define the next step in their learning.
